8/14/2008 - Echoing AOA Past President Peter B. Ajluni, DO, AOA member Paul Ehrmann, DO, is featured in the 8/11/08 Crain’s Detroit Business as one of the magazine’s “Health Care Heroes.”  Dr. Ehrmann, a family physician practicing in Royal Oak, MI, was highlighted for his efforts to combat the growing childhood obesity epidemic, especially by founding the Children’s Health Initiative Program in 2002.  This program promotes wellness by teaching children in local elementary schools about healthy eating and exercise habits.  Dr. Ehrmann also has written a book on the subject, Generation XL — The Childhood Obesity Pandemic: A Community Based Solution.  Read the full article online.
