MyHealthBook

Rx for improved Patient-Doctor Communication

Communication between Physician and patient is the cornerstone to the delivery of quality health care. Without it, the best and most diligent Doctor and patient will not be able to achieve this end goal eventually negatively effecting not only the Doctor-Patient relationship but also the medical care delivered therein.

Based on 20 years of experience it became clear that in order for Physicians to treat disorders, it is important that patients and doctors effectively communicate information at the point of service.

However, we how is the patient to know what is important to the Doctor?  Physicians often need to to sift through information given to them by the patients in order to arrive at a diagnosis.  Since patients are not Physicians, they  provide what they think is clinically relevant information.  Some may be but some may not.   If they were able to effectively communicate to their physicians what the physician felt was relevant, they would be on the same wavelength and for all intense purposes , help their  physicians deliver more time effective care to their  patient. You can do this by utilizing MyHealthBook!

MyHealthBook gets inside the head of Physicians and gives patients the knowledge to begin this communication.

MyHealthBook helps guide the patient through the maze of clinically relevant information that their Doctor desires to help them help you.  It is patterned after detailed history intake information when you first see the Doctor. MyHealthBook can be updated each and every time you come in the office with the use of a couple of keystrokes.  It does take time initially but once it is set up , it is easy. Just modify after each Doctor visit.

It can be stored securely on our web site to be used prior to and after a physician encounter to keep up to date and track any acute or chronic medical disorder MyHealthBook can also be downloaded and saved on your desktop if you would like. It can also be used via the desktop if there are concerns of security, you could not use of course the edulink function.
