What the Oakland County Osteopathic Medical Association is saying about CHIP

First, let us congratulate you on the creation of the CHIP program. As physicians, we are well aware of the the obesity problems facing our school aged children. We agree that such a program geared toward this particular group creates a basis for learning the importance of good nutrition and healthy cardiovascular living early on and can only have a positive impact on their families at home.
