Electromyelogram-muscle and Nerve Conduction Test (EMG-NCT)

The tests purpose is to measure the function of nerves and muscles in the upper and or lower extremity. There is no special preparation is needed.

The test will take place at the diagnostic center at our office, the Family Health Care Center.

The test takes 45-60 min. and can schedule appointment at the conclusion of your office visit.

There will be sterile acupuncture like needles inserted in skin to measure this function. It may be a little uncomfortable.

You can schedule test at the conclusion of your office visit.

The information will be communicated to your doctor and hence to you within two weeks from the date of your test.
