Until further notice..Any patient on Zetia alone or combined with Vytorin should call the office 248-543-2000 and connect to extension 230. Please leave me a voice mail message with a pharmacy number and I will make a change to another medication:

In addition you should indicate in your message if:

1. you have ever had a drug reaction to the use of a statin such as Zocor or Lipitor or other statin.

If so, leave me your phone no. and I will call you back to discuss options.

2. Should make appt in one month for follow up fasting blood work and office visit-hit * and follow the prompts.  Will be connected back to receptionist to do so.  May also then hit extension 243 if needed.

FYI

We do have in office dispensing of Simvastatin 40mg (generic Zocor) for 20 dollars for a three month supply (if you are on 20mg, you can cut in half and get six months for 20 dollars , not a bad deal!).
